My sister and her husband married in May 2016 on a Californian beach near where they live in the presence of their parents and a few friends in a small, intimate ceremony. In July, they traveled to St. Louis and New York to celebrate their marriage with family and friends who could not attend the wedding in California. While searching the internet for fun & unique entertainment for a party to celebrate my sister and her new husband’s recent marriage with our family and friends in St. Louis, I came across Tony B’s Dueling Pianos.
From the first moment I talked with him on the phone, I knew he was a genuine guy. I was so blessed that he had just had a cancellation for the date I wanted in July. Tony was very flexible in working out the details for his show at the party. It was not a typical wedding reception with announcing the couple, toasts, first dances, etc. Also, the party was held at a small venue that would not have room for dueling pianos. Tony assured me he could do the show solo with just one piano.
Tony and his assistant, Frankie, kept in continual contact with me over the month of planning the party. They showed up in the afternoon on the day of the event to set up to make sure everything was ready for that evening. Tony put on an amazing show for an audience age 3 to 88. He played every song requested, from pop to oldies to country. He had an easy manner and infectious energy about him that made everyone feel comfortable to join in the singing, and dancing.
I had mentioned to Tony that my daughter has played piano since age 5 and had written a couple of songs. He suggested she play them at the party that night. That opportunity blessed my daughter and our family and friends so much! Tony even invited our musical friends from the audience to get their instruments and play along with him. By the end of the night I felt Tony and Frankie were friends just like everyone in the room. Many of our family and friends mentioned how talented Tony was and what a fun night they had at the party. If I ever plan another party event in the future that requires fun, unique entertainment, I will be giving Tony and Frankie a call! Thanks guys!
